Turmeric And Curd

Ingredients:

¼ tsp of Kasturi turmeric powder

1 tsp of curd

Method:

Mix curd and turmeric powder and apply the pack as a thin layer on the skin.

Let it dry for 20 minutes and wash with cold water.

How It Works:

This traditional face pack will reduce wrinkles, opens the pores and slows down the process of ageing.

Egg White, Lemon and Olive:

Ingredients:

1 egg white

1 tsp lemon juice

1 tsp olive oil

Method:

Take one egg white and whip it till it forms a foamy peak. Add lemon juice and olive oil to it.

Mix all the ingredients and apply it on face and neck.

Leave it for 20 minutes and wash with lukewarm water.

How It Works:

Egg white tightens the skin and opens pores. This will also give skin an instant glow and reduces ageing.

Potato and Carrot:

1 slice of potato

1 small piece of carrot

Method:

Make a paste of both potato and carrot by adding very little water.

Apply this pulp on the face and leave it for 15 minutes.

Wash with cold water.

How It Works:

Carrot is loaded with vitamin A and it promotes collagen production on the skin while potato is known for its anti-ageing properties by reducing wrinkles.

Glow With Wine

Red wine is not a healthy drink if consumed in limited quantities, but it can be an elixir to massage and make your skin vibrant, blemish-free, and youthful. Here is how you can make use of this drink on the face:

As A Cleanser:

Mix 2 tablespoons of your favorite red wine with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.

Make sure you have used a mild facewash before starting this facial to remove all the excess dirt, oil, and pollutants and get your skin ready for some deep-core treatment

Apply the mixture all over your face using a cotton ball and massage your face for 10 minutes

Wipe off the cleanser using a cotton washcloth

As A Face Mask:

Mix 1 tablespoon of wine with 2 tablespoons of unflavoured Greek yogurt

Add 1 tablespoon of honey

Apply this paste over your face evenly and leave it on for about 20 minutes

Once the mask has become dry, wash it with cold water

How It Works:

Packed with antioxidants like flavonoids, red wine has resveratrol and tannin. These components can help fight aging by restoring collagen and elastic fibers.
